After two and a half years of discussion, contemplation, and prayer, we are moving the family to the Grand Rapids area. Dave is saying “goodbye” to his position as a bookstore manager of 14+ years and “hello” to taking on a sales position at a music store on Grand Rapids’ main street. The opportunity came literally a few days ago. Myca will continue to work with special needs children in the schools of G.R. .

Right now, we are sitting in our apartment as it continues to fill with the boxes that have been packed. The walls are slowly becoming bare again as pictures and memories are carefully prepared for transport to their new home.

It’s an exciting time as everything for the move is pulling together with days to spare. We have found a quaint 4 bedroom home just north of Kentwood, and the renovations will be done just in time for us to get Joy, Isaac and Benjamin to town for their first week of school.

We leave behind friends, family and the only city Dave has ever lived in. We come to a place where we have been lead to for this season of our lives, and where other friends anxiously await our arrival. The opportunity to do what we were created for has never felt more real, and the future is wide open.
